70’s SANSUI AU-20000 Integrated Amplifier w/ TU-9900 Tuner
I just recently purchased this rare Sansui AU-20000 integrated amp with matching TU-9900 tuner from the original owner. The gentleman purchased this while in Korea on leave from the Vietnam War. It comes with all its original receipts, brochures, manuals, repair receipts over the years and even a service manual with wiring diagrams for both units inside!As you can see this was his pride and joy and he took meticulous care... of it. Cosmetically, I am at a loss to find anything wrong with them. They appear as good as they did the day they came out of the box.They were working perfectly when I bought them but there was a little evidence of the controls needing cleaning so I dropped the amp off for a service and diagnostic with Amplifier Experts in New Milford Ct (I highly recommend them). It now has a clean bill of health and all controls are working perfectly with no noise. I think you would be hard pressed to find a better one anywhere. I won’t bore you with all the technical specs. You can Google that if you’re curious but the reputation of these 70’s Sansui amplifiers stands tall in the world of vintage audio.Bid with confidence that there are no hidden disappoints with this unit. You will be getting nothing but the highest quality and condition with the provenance to match.
