You're purchasing one of the best floppy drive controllers ever made for the TRS-80 / Tandy Color Computer series. Built like a tank, the DISTO Super Controller has 4 EPROM sockets to hold your favorite DOS ROMs that can be selected via software. On the side of the case is an expansion slot for various upgrade boards that were made for this controller (boards not included) like an EPROM burner, RTC, parallel port, etc.The case is very sturdy metal held toget...her by 4 screws. The contacts are good but could use a little bit of cleaning up. This controller WORKS FINE and was part of the "CoCoTower" system used to write many CoCo programs over the years by a well-known author. There are 4 DOS ROMs included in the sockets including the CoCoNet 1.27 ROM which is a super-patched Disk BASIC 1.1 ROM and works great on all versions of the CoCo with at least 64K to give serial and wireless drives.
