A letter with its envelope from Radio Show Host in the 1940s Jimmie Fidler to a Lister about a contest for a patriotic slogan, telling him he did not win the War Bond prize. No date on the letter and the signature likely is a print signature. Included in the envelope is a small booklet about a product called ARRID, wh...ich Mr. Fidler also mentions in the letter, telling the lister to use it and that Mr. Fidler and his wife uses it. No date on the letter, one page, folded 3 ways, unfolded 5, 5/8.5", has a couple of red pencil looking marks on the back. The envelope is opened along the top and has a 1.5 inch tear top center, has Fidler's name on the outside, 1 cent stamp, a Los Angeles Calif postmark but no date/year. Size is 3.75 x 6.5". On the back of the envelope is scribbles in red pencil with one red mark on the front. Wear, browning, marks, some creases, edge wear and corner wear to all the paper; letter, envelope and Arrid booklet.
