For sale is a Macintosh PowerBook G3 (FireWire), aka Pismo, model M7572. It comes equipped with a 40 GB hard drive (less with formatting), 640 MB RAM, and 400 MHz G3 processor. It also comes with an Apple charger that has a replacement plug.
This was the first PowerBook to include a FireWire connection. It's a great bridge Mac between modern Intels and PPCs and older 68k Macs.
The hard drive boots to Mac OS X 10.4.11 or OS 9.2.2. The power port and AirPort... are tested working. I have not tested the other ports/connections, and their status is as-is/untested. The trackpad works fine. All keys are tested.
I include a battery (holds a little charge; tested ~1 minute) and DVD drive (working). Overall, the condition appears normal given its age with some scuffs/scratches, a CDW sticker on bottom, some noticeable marks/splitting near hinges on back, and a missing tab keycap. See photographs for condition. I'm selling this as-is. The yo-yo charger has a replacement, non-Apple two-prong plug.
