Hercules/Raleigh English 3-speed cruiser bicycle 21" full-size Made in England You are looking at a Hercules English-made bicycle that is in superb condition. The frame size is 21 inches. This bike has been fully tuned and it has brand new 26 inch tires. The paint is in excellent condition, with a nice patina throughout. The chrome shines like new. The seat appears to be original. It has the venerable 3-speed Sturmey-Archer hub. Everything on the bike works perfectly. It has been incre...dibly well maintained, but it does have some light scratches from normal wear. I am a collector of these vintage 3-speed English bikes, and this is the best condition bike that I have owned. It also has an aftermarket rack over the rear tire. I am unsure of the exact age of this bicycle, but I am guessing late-1960s. The famed Hercules Cycle and Motor Company was founded in 1910 in Aston in England and later bought out by Raleigh. The Hercules Cycle and Motor Company is an interesting story, well worth a read.
