Top of the line Yamaha MX-1000 Stereo Power amplifier, built when Yamaha was at the top of their game. It has the incomparable design, attention to detail, craftsmanship and performance that only Yamaha Natural Sound can produce. It is in nice working condition, cosmetically well cared for with a few very small scratches and nicks-nothing serious at all. It is a powerful 260 RMS watts per channel into 8 ohms, much more into 4 ohms with high dynamic headroom and very hefty dual power su...pply. It uses the proprietary Hyperbolic Conversion design for transparent, natural, detailed, dynamic, extended, spacious and musical sound. It is dead quiet. It has many very nice features including capability to connect 3 pairs of speakers, switches for 2/4/8 ohm operation, left-right gain controls, beautiful gorgeous red Led segmented power meters with peak hold and wattage output. You can also turn the meter display off. It has hefty speaker connectors and gold plated input jacks. It is very heavy and will be packed safely.
