This receiver is part of the remains of the Vitaphone sound system installed in a Nebraska theatre in the late 1920's. The voice coil tested at 12.9 ohms and the field coil 4.8. If you have any other questions I will be happy to answer them as best I can BEFORE the auction ends. Because of some issues with previous bidders, I would like to make my position clear on how I intend to sell this piece. Don't bid if you're not going to pay the agreed-up...on amount within 24 hours. Don't ask for a pick-up with cash or a telephone number as a way of circumventing eBay or renegotiating a deal. I will not entertain requests for a full or partial refund under any circumstances. I had the coils tested by a competent tech for anyone who needs those numbers, but I do not offer any kind of warranty - this piece is 90 years old and being sold AS-IS. Again, please ask your questions BEFORE you bid, not after. Sorry, no shipping to Asia. I will cancel bids from that area. I do have other parts of this system I will be listing soon. They include a Vitaphone 16" turntable, a Western Electric music and effects dual 12" mixing turntable set (already listed) and part of a projector with a switch to move from sound-on-disc to sound-on-film.
