Authentic Leica Ernst Leitz Wetzlar Summitar, 50mm, screw-mount, collapsible lenswith original lens cover (exterior lens cover only). This lens was used with aLeica III (c); the camera body and other accessories, including the lens hood and case, are being sold in separatelistings.According to the serial number, 578656, this lens was made in1941. I did not see any blemishes or scratches on either end of the lens but I diddetect significant fungi on what is perhaps the second eleme...nt (the first glassfrom the outer one) of the interior lens. The lens is being sold for parts/as is because the lens will need tobe cleaned. The price has been discounted accordingly. When opening and closing the aperture, Ialso noticed that it can be opened and closed smoothly but sticks a bit in onespot.
