I've reached 58 years old and have now been selling kits from my collection for 6 years after I realized that I'll never build all of my 800+ plastic model kits (650 down and about 150 to go!). I've had a lot of success so far by offering fair prices, lots of photos, and detailed descriptions of what I'm selling. I don't try to make profits from shipping, and I package things up like I would want them packaged if I was buying. Check my feedback on that one. I pamper the kits,... especially the open box ones that I can wrap up all the plastic in tissue and prevent things from moving around during shipping. Anyway... bid on!! P-40N WARHAWK (PK-31)
The WARHAWK, with about 40 parts, comes with raised panel lines and in two colors (dark olive green and light gray) (see the photos), includes a pilot, and has decals for two different aircraft.
Condition of the kits are as follows
WARHAWK #1 (1986)
NEW IN SHRINKWRAP= BOX: Minor creasing in lower left corner of box top
WARHAWK #2 (1983) = PARTS: Are on the two sprues (see photos)= INSTRUCTIONS: look good, crisp and clean (see photos)= DECALS: Look good, but (as with many Matchbox kits) the protective wax paper is stuck to the decal sheet across about 50% of the area. Where it is not adherent, the decals look quite good. I think the wax paper would come off the decals when wetted for application. I've also got some feedback from Hyperscale on different ways to try to remove wax paper stuck to decals. I'll include that with your purchase.= BOX: Has minor scuffing (check the photos)
You can find this kit on eBay, but absolutely not in hobby stores, so I've set a super competitive price for the TWO of only $15.95. This is a great bargain considering the combined shipping cost isn't much more than the individual kit shipping cost. These model kits are unassembled and unpainted. Paint, cement, and hobby accessories are not included in the kit. The instructions are in English. Also, these kits are from a nonsmoking home (mine!). I only accept PayPal. Payment must be received within 7 calendar days of auction close. I will do a great job packing up these kits for shipment. I use tissue to keep the parts from moving around (if the box is open) and securely seal the shipping container. See my feedback comments on my packaging. I will ship by USPS (United States Postal Service) or United Parcel Service (UPS) or FedEx within 1 business day and post the tracking number to your sale. Please note that the shipping cost cannot be determined exactly until the item(s) have been actually packed and weighed. I'm not selling on eBay to make a bunch of money on the shipping, but I can only make estimated of total weight before the item(s) are actually packed. And remember, I do have to pay for the boxes and shipping materials too, so the total shipping cost covers not only the postage, but a very modest charge to cover the packing supplies. I have personally checked these items and they have no defects, except where noted.
