A gorgeous glass owl, designed and created by Antonio Da Ros, circa the early 1960s, for Vetreria Gino Cenedese, of Murano. Made from a blue tinted glass, with gold leaf eyes (Foglia D'Oro technique), and bronze/olive pupils surrounded with a fine circle of Sommerso submerged bubbles, which I hope that you can make out in my photos. Approximately 14cms high, and well documented as the "Piccolo Gufo", but quite rare. In an excellent and undamaged condition - this piece is unsigned,... as many were.
