Antique Chinese hand paintedblue and white porcelain tiffin.Circa early 1900s.The tiffin has fourbeautiful hand painted porcelain bowls. Each bowl is painted with lovelylotuses. The design is the same but because they are hand painted, they are alldifferent. The lid has matching design.Each bowl has two smallhandles. Heavy gauge solid brassmound securely holds the bowls together. The mound has a bamboo shape handle.The base has a MingDynasty reign mark of Yongle 永乐年制. The tiffi...n was an exportware made in early 1900s.The tiffin is very heavy weighing over three kilogrammes. Withfood it might be too heavy to carry.
