This is a newly designed Z80 SBC with three RC2014 expansion buses. The design is based on Z80SBC64 but with 3 RC2014 expansion buses added. Design information and software are available at https://www.retrobrewcomputers.org/doku.php?id=builderpages:plasmo:z80mb64
This board is fully assembled, tested and ready to run. The compact flash is loaded with CP/M 2.2 files. To operate, the board needs 5V@250mA and a USB cable to a terminal program setting of 115...200-N-8-1, no hardware handshake.
The SBC Z80 is very fast, it can run ASCIIART.TXT benchmark in 52 seconds. The three expansion connectors are RC2014 compatible, but because the processor is running at 22MHz, the bus may be too fast for most RC2014 boards. In fact, this motherboard is designed as a test bed to develop faster RC2014 I/O boards. Compatibility with standard RC2014 boards can be achieved by changing the oscillator to 7.37MHz but performance will be severely reduced. Please let me know if you wish to have 7.37MHz oscillator instead of 22MHz.
The board dimension of Z80MB64 is 4" x 4" (102mm x 102mm). The board in the photographs is what you will receive. The compact flash disk and USB-serial adapter are included.
