Vintage Chicago Cubs Pin from 1951 celebrating the 75th anniversary of the Chicago Cubs. Adorned with Purple and Red silk ribbons and Baseball and Glove charms. Button is approximately 1.5" with approximately 3" ribbons. There is moderate tarnish to the back of the button and the glove. The purple ribbon is creased and the red ribbon has faint white spotting, otherwise parts are in excellent condition. Displayed on Green Foam in Plastic Case. One of case hinges brokenPROVENANCE: Estate... collection of an avid baseball collector and prominent member of the Emil Verban Memorial Society, the invite-only Chicago Cubs fan club of Washington, D.C. that has counted presidents and Supreme Court justices among its members.
