A beautifully restored Finnish axe from Beaver Creek Woodcraft!
🇫🇮🇫🇮🇫🇮Billnäs 12.3!The handle is hand carved of Ash and it's based off an original Billnäs 12.3 handle. Treated with Pine tar, the haft is approximately 20" long.
The head weighs 2.5# and is guaranteed razor sharp.
The ash handle is cooked in tar and oil before being driven into the the socketed eye. A birch wedge keeps everything tight.
A beast of a pack axe, full size performance in a smal...ler package.
Accompanied by a hand fitted mask that has been oiled and waxed for weather resistance.A unique item for the woodsman who has everything else!
