Digital DEC Dual Extender Board W984A from PDP-11 Computer
About 20 years ago I bought a box of computer boards from a Medical Research facility. They appear to be from a PDP-11 type minicomputer. This is an extender board that when installed allows the user to reach the pins to trace signals. When I did a google search, I found that the Paul D McLean Collection has this board. Paul D Maclean is famous for his research on the "triune" brain at the Natio...nal Institute of Mental Health. The boards came from MD Anderson in Houston so they may have been engaged in similar research. Maybe an historical item here. The board is about 10X6 inches and weighs about 5 ounces.
