this is old radio of hubbys we are downsizing in our old age so time to let it go. in great shapeyou wont find many of these now adays
happy to offer this working vintage 1957 very early Westinghouse Model H-611P5 5 transistor radio in classic mid century modern design and turquoise color! Serial number: B824672. Takes a special shaped 9 volt battery, but I tested it with a standard 9 volt battery, holding contacts together with my hand, and the radio plays, bu...t a a bit squeaky, depending on station and volume. ( 9 volt battery adapters are available on eBay.) Radio is very clean with no chips or cracks or other damage. Just some normal minor wear from normal light use. Measures about 6 inches long, 3 inches high and 1.5 inches deep. Believe these were the first transitor radios by Westinghouse!
