Vintage Sansui QRX-5500 Quadraphonic / Stereo receiver amplifier.Beautiful physical condition. The face plate is nearly perfect. The wood case only has minor scratches.A few issues had been addressed throughout the unit. Power supply recapped. Also some drifted caps in plug in cards (rear channels / quad separation) changed as well. The two big main filter caps are brand new as well.All the remaining caps throughout the unit were checked with ESR meter.All functions checked. FM sectio...n pulls stations strong . NOTE : even though FM stereo comes on, NO stereoseparation is heard (FM comes out in MONO only) ( IC Stereo Multiplex decoder chip is confirmed good). Speaker relay contacts cleaned and touched up with Faderlube. No noise or intermittence in the switches and knobs - all treated with Deoxit D5 and followed with Faderlube. All the lights are original and work.Power amp board trim pots had been adjusted according to the service manual .
