The National CF-2700 is same as the CF-1200, but has more RAM. It was produced by the Japanese corporation Matsushita Denki for the Japanese market. At that time National was the brand used in Japan and Panasonic was used for the international market. The MSX1 product line from National was called "King-Kong". The computer consists out of a single unit with integrated keyboard and power supply. This model has 2 cartridge slots placed in parallel on the top right. The CF-2700 is a MS...X1 with a Z80A from NEC (D780C-1). The computer has 2 cartridge slots on the top right. It doesn't contain MSX-Engine.
I have a Google Drive full of MSX materials, a good portion in English. If you send me your email address, I will grant you access to my Google Drive so that you can download books, manuals, etc.
Unit was tested and clean.
Note that Japanese video is the same as USA NTSC video. So this machine will connect to any TV with a video input (composite). Japanese power is 100V and as this machine was made for the Japanese market, I strongly recommend you purchase a step-down transformer (search online). It can run on 110V (USA power), but as the components on the mother board are over 30 years old, you are taking a chance.ROM: 32KB (BIOS & BASIC v1.0) Size: 436 x 245 x 90 mm (W x D x H)RAM: 32kB in slot 0 VRAM: 16kBMedia Cartridges Video: Texas Instruments TMS9918 Audio: PSG (AY-3-8910A)
