DESCRIPTION
FOR SALE:This is from a very large camera estate in western PA that has been sitting unused in storage for many years. Note: I am not a photographer, collector nor expert. I am selling estate items. I am not able to assess condition in any professional manner. This item is being sold AS IS and may need cleaning and restoration to be used. Sold for parts or restoration. PLEASE ask any questions important to your satisfaction BEF...ORE bidding.
ITEM: This is appears to be a rare find. It is a Kodak No 2 Falcon box camera from the early 1890's. THe inside has the label with patent dates 1885 and 1892. The "key" at the front turns to cock the shutter, and the lever on the side pushes down to fire the shutter. I can here it working, but can't test with film, etc. I don't know if anything else is missing. (although it looks like hit has posts on top that had a leather strap handle that isn't there.) There is some of the covering missing on the top. I'm selling for parts or restoration. Since I do not know the working condition or the completeness, please bid accordingly. I do not accept returns because you feel you overpaid, or it can only be used for parts. Please see pictures and ask any questions important to your satisfaction.
