For sale is a used Swiss Tissot Seastar PR 516 automatic men's watch, likely produced in the mid/late 1960s.
Gold plated case and stainless steel case back. Swiss Tissot automatic movement, 21j.
Its original gold-colored dual tone dial is in excellent shape, no immediately visible imperfections.
hands in very good condition, the plexi crystal does have a few surface scratches.
Original Tissot-signed gold plated crown, with a slight dent on one side, hardly visible... during wear and not impacting its functionality.
Gold plated case and stainless steel case back, with a number of light surface scratches, but very well preserved overall.
Brushed bezel and lugs in excellent cosmetic condition.

This Tissot is winding, setting and running well and keeping excellent time(ca. +8sec / day based on recent 48hr time check).
It comes on a little-used brown leather strap with neutral gold plated buckle, and a Tissot-signed case.
Measurements are ca. 34mm in diameter excl. crown, and ca. 42mm lug-to-lug.Lug width 18mm.
Please note that most vintage watches are smaller than contemporary models.
Men's watches marketed in the 50s and 60s regularly featured diameter sizes between 31mm and 35mm, while 36mm -38mm diameters were considered 'oversize' or 'jumbo'.
