The speaker will ...be double-boxed and packed to the best of my abilities.
*** NOTE *** Because this speaker is almost 60 years old, I cannot offer any sort of guarantee that it will continue to perform as it does now. Although it sounds wonderful here during testing, the speaker is sold AS-IS, no returns.
A little Background:
Robert Stephens worked for MGM and was a pioneer in Theater Speaker design. He left MGM in 1947 and founded Stephens Manufacturing Company in Culver City California. Because of their high-quality, Stephens speakers were often used in the Motion Picture Industry. Tragically, Robert Stephens died in 1957 of bone cancer and his speakers company languished for several years before closing its doors.
Although he was only in the industry for a short time, Robert Stephens let his mark of speaker design and his offerings were as well regarded as JBL, ALTEC and other legendary speakers in the 50's and 60's. The CX Tru-Sonic line was a breakthrough in concentric coaxial design and still considered with high regard even today.
