Found this in the estate of a antique toy train collector. This is a very rare Koppers Coke Loader made by Poll Mfg Co. in the 1930 to 40's.I am told this was a special company promo display.
100 % original and complete. Never restored or cleaned.Excellent factory paint and litho.Loader measures 16" tall.Metal hopper and loader excellent and free of rust, dents, or other damage.The hopper loader works excellent. Still has its original pulley rope and wind up mechanism. W...hen you wind the wench the loader carries a load of coal to the top and dumps it into the loading bin. When the bin door is opened the coke goes down the shoot into a waiting coke car. All works perfect.Coke car is included. Excellent condition.Comes with a bag of original rubber coke pellets.Great addition to a vintage train set !!!!NO RESERVE !!!!
