Beautiful antique Art Nouveau style pastel painting in Arts & Crafts/Mission style oak frame with original wavy glass! Measures 33 1/2" by 27 1/2" with a thickness of about 3/4"; Sight measures 27 1/2" by 21 1/2". Depicts beautifully detailed Art Nouveau nude ladies with doves. Signed by the artist "Pence" (bottom left) and dated 1904.
Age related wear with some minor toning possible (see pics) to the painting surface. Two very small areas of discoloratio...n (see pics) at the very top & bottom center. Some dust particles behind the glass on painting surface; Likely has never been removed from it's original mission oak frame which also demonstrates minor age related wear. Both painting and frame may benefit from a light cleaning. Overall, in very good antique condition. Honestly, looks so nice hanging in our front hall we're not sure we want to sell it! A wonderful & authentic representation of the Art Nouveau era!
