up for consideration is an exceptionally Fine Large American Overlay Slag Glass Lamp...It measures about 25.5 inches tall with a shade diameter of about 20" or so. The shade is very unique it has a 6 large double curve panels to it and then there is an additional 3 that make up the other panels...that have an interesting curve to them also...They are supported by all their original tabs which are intact and in fine condition...The overlay work is also in excellent condition with no... breaks separations or repairs. It looks to have been rewired by a lamp company in Royal Oak Michigan...some time ago as there is an old sticker. It has great old coloration...the sockets are pat pending and look to have a P possibly B and an S. Not sure if that gives an indication of who made the lamp...The lamp has old felt on the bottom...Likewise the base probably weighs close to 20lbs...or more.
