*** Antique 19thC French/Italian? Silk Metallic Brocade Fabric Chausable w Gold Metallic Trim*** This exquisite chausable or vestment dating to C.1850 is in amazing condition. It has been stored in a collection for years. The chausable measures 28.5" wide and 42" long. The silk, silver, and gold metallic brocade features a floral winding pattern and gorgeous colors-a rosy coral background with greens, blues, corals, and lilacs. The gold lining is also in excellent conditio...n except for the few stains at the bottom which do not go through to the front. There are also a few small faintly soiled spots on the front which are barely noticeable. I am listing these "flaws" only for perfect transparency; they in no way affect the beauty of this textile!
