Antique Swiss pocket watch, by Gustave Reymond, 7 jewels, watch key included to move the hands and wind it up, white dial has black Roman numerals, inset second hand dial, delicate black hands, mounted in a beautiful 18K yellow gold hunter case, the front features a small enameled butterfly motif, on a stippled background, the back has an oval medallion on a stippled background, case is marked WARRANTED 18K with a circular belt or garter motif, case measures approx. 43mm or 1-3/4" in d...iameter, the pocket watch with movement intact weighs 51.4 grams, the inside dust cover says PATENT and Seven Full Jewels, 46072, LOCLE, also engraved Anna Meitzler, and G. Reymond, the other side of the dust cover says Anna Meitzler from Pa, so it was obviously a gift, condition: as is, after winding, and a few gentle shakes, the second hand moves around, but not the hour and minute hands, this watch has been in storage for decades and sold as found, from a local estate.
