Up for sale here is this pair of National Union 5U4G coke-bottle black-plate hanging filament rectifier tubes.  These have 1941 and 1943 date codes, and are either NOS or lightly used.  These were made for the US Navy, and as such are extra-high-quality tubes.  They have identical construction, with smooth black plates, hanging filaments, bottom D getters with flat foil strips, nice patches of silvering, and top round mica plates with side mica snubbers.  
I... tested these on my calibrated B&K 747B tube tester, and they tested at 77/78 and 78/76, with no shorts or grid emission, on a scale of 0-120, where 65 is minimum good.  They were previously tested on a TV-7B/U tube tester and tested at 46.5/46 and 47.3/48.7.  These are amazing tubes and are guaranteed to work well for you.  Please see my pictures for details.
