No reserve on this original Revell 1965 vintage 1/32-scaleplastic-bodied Aston Martin DB-5 Racer slot car with original aluminum chassiswith motor. This old Aston has been sitting in a smoke-free, though rather dusty, Slot Car collection along with a few hundred other slot cars and parts andpieces for many, many years and was only recently rediscovered. This Astonlooks good but it is definitely not in mint condition, as it has been run inthe past and has some edge wear in places, is missing a few parts and the green-coloredbody was long-ago painted red and detailed in silver, as you may be able to seein the accompanying photos. Looks like the rear bumper and front grille aremissing. The car body is nice and straight and the window posts are all niceand straight, too. The original Revell chassis looks great and includes thetrack guide with both wires and both brushes. Original Revell tires all the wayaround and these look good and all look very serviceable. The correct wirewheels with spinners are all in place, though the right front one is loose andhas a tendency to pop loose from the wheel, as shown. The original old Revell slotcar motor looks good and runs very fast and very strong but no guarantees, implied, stated or otherwise, are made on the motor. Included with the slot car is theoriginal instruction sheet and one of the original old “75” circular decals. Again, this old Revell Aston Martin slot car is definitely not mint, as very clearlynoted above and as shown in the many photos, but still looks pretty good anddisplays quite well and runs fast and strong. Makes a very fun addition to anyBritish/Euro-Car, Racing Car or Vintage Slot Car collection! Sold "as-is";please check out all of the photos carefully!
