Superb vintage Chinese Jian Yao hare fur drip glaze ceramic teabowl (建窑兔毛盏).The beautiful tea bowl is covered with the famous Jian drip glaze.Tiny feather-like effect of various shades of grey in the glaze hence the namehare fur.The inside of the bowl has two imprinted pomegranate branches.The outside has intentional brown drip glaze transformation.The lovely drip glaze runs down toward the unglazed base. Theglaze forms ridges on the edge.Jian Yao hare fur ware was one of the... most influential ceramicsfrom the Song Dynasty.
