Vintage Sendra Cowboy Boots Size 4-5 UK / 37-38 EU / 6-7 AU. Condition is Pre-Owned. Sent with Australia Post Pre-Paid Parcel Post Satchel 3kg.
These gorgeous classic style vintage Sendra boots were purchased in London many years ago (approx: 20 years). They were actually too big for me when I bought them but I fell in love with ...them and thought I may find a way to make them fit me. The purchase price was almost = to $450AU, so I took a huge risk buying them. The boots have been worn twice to try to come up with a suitable way to make them fit. Sadly I wasn't able to find a way to make them fit me. They have been sitting in my wardrobe, I didn't want to part with them as they are a beautiful work of Spanish craftsmanship. I have finally decided that it is time that they found a new home.
As stated, the boots have only been worn twice, therefore they are in immaculate condition. The only way to distinguish them from a new pair is the normal wear on the leather soles, which happens as soon as you walk around outside. This particular model of boot is no longer available and I have not seen many preloved ones for sale. Sendra do not mass produce boots, so it is likely that there would have been only a smallish amount of this design available. The boots are florentic leather, meaning they are made of a thick leather and more on the shiny side than a matte finish and will age beautifully. The stitching on the front of the boot shaft depicts an eagle with a heart on it's breast, below that is a star and then below that is another heart. The rear of the boot shaft has the eagle pattern repeated and just above the heel is a heart. The heel bears a small metal Sendra nameplate. Sendra boots go through a 250 step manufacturing process, making them unbeatable quality. Please take some time to look at the Sendra website, so you can see exactly how their boots are made: www.sendra.com, this will give you an indication as to why these boots are not cheap. The boots are marked in UK size, being 4 to 5, I personally think that they are about a 4&1/2.
Apparently cowboy boots are back in fashion this year but personally I don't think a classic pair ever go out of fashion! If you are passionate about cowboy boots, then these may be perfect for you. If the boots are taken care of correctly they will last for ages.
