Vintage metal double door Bread Box Pie Safe. I usually avoid buying these when I see them because they just look like to much work to rehab. They usually have old decals and paint that needs to be scraped or rust on the interior. This one is free from almost all of that. It is stained with old kitchen dirt and grunge but nothing that a little clean up and fresh paint wont cover perfectly. The interior has been covered in shelf paper but it seems to pull up (very stic...ky) leaving the inside in fairly great shape, free of most of the rust that plagues these old boxes. I don't see any major dents or damage. Both doors function perfectly as they should. The bottom has some staining and superficial rust spots. Nothing that can't be cleaned or covered. Vented. 12.75" wide, 11 7/8" tall and 12" deep at the bottom. Slanted up to the top 9 1/2" deep. This one is ready for you to paint and customize.
