For sale is a vintage Supersoft/Landmark diagnostic ROM for the IBM 5170 (AT). This ROM allows testing of various aspects of the computer at a very low level. This is extremely useful in diagnosing a computer that will not boot.To install, simply remove the original boot ROMs from U27 and U47, place the diagnostic ROMs in their place (A and B, respectively), and boot the computer. An on screen display will show the status of the tests (if there's no video adapter, beeps are used instea...d.)I will provide the manual via PDF upon purchase.
