I will post / ship WORLDWIDE and will combine items for postage!An outstanding 'Warranted Superior' vintage RARE and 100% ORIGINAL - E T Roberts & Lee 22" blade (with 12 teeth per inch - 12 tpi) TAPER GROUND - THIN TO BACK classic hand saw. Made at the Don Works in Northumberland Park, Tottenham, London, N17 0TX - circa 1970's or 1980's - and in NEW OLD STOCK condition! The company 'E T Roberts & Lee' wa...s subsequently bought out by 'Thomas Flinn & Co.' who now produces similarly branded saws for discerning individuals... Looking on ebay, one can see that similar saws are also to be had from makers such as Veritas, Lie Nielsen and Skelten - albeit for very silly money! This tool (and others that I will be listing over time) belonged to late father (an engineer and a keen woodworker). My dear dad was quite obsessive over his tools and he always used to say "if you look after your tools then they will look after you"... This and the various other 'New Old Stock' E T Roberts & Lee saws were all found inside a box under his bed!Anyway, this lovely saw feels absolutely superb in the hand and has a very nice solid Dark Walnut wooden handle. There are a few pin prick sized dark spots on the blade (by the handle) and a couple of tiny storage marks on the wooden handle - but other than that it is exactly as when it left the original LONDON factory - probably back in the 1970's or 1980's...PLEASE SEE PHOTOGRAPHS as they are an important part of the description.
