In France, between 1910 and 1920, some dolls were made by some artists. Most precisely some molds were designed by sculptors, designers, cartoonists.Like Albert Marque, Poulbot, Willette, Hansi, Masson, Tasson...
Here is a doll made by A. Lanternier in Limoges (name of a french town where there was the famous porcelain factory), circa 1915, size 21 2/3" (55 cm).

Mold made by the sculptor J. E. Masson.
About the doll :
Bisque head in perfect condition..., free of hairline or restoration, open mouth, blue enamel inset eyes. French fully jointed body in good used condition but not perfect : original painting and body finish, some chips of painting on the hands and on the feet (see pics n° 9-11-12).
New mohair wig.
3 old underwears in good condition. Vintage socks. Homemade dress. New shoes.
