Scarce early original vintage 11 x 14 inch large format “OFFICIAL PHOTOGRAPH U.S. NAVY” of the famous battleship USS North Carolina. Official U.S. Navy stamp is on back (see scan).

USS North Carolina (BB-55) is the lead ship of the North Carolina-class battleships and the fourth warship in the U.S. Navy to be named for the State of North Carolina.
It was the first newly constructed American battleship to ent...er service during World War II, and took part in every major naval offensive in the Pacific Theater of Operations; Its 15 battle stars made her the most decorated American battleship of World War II.
Photograph measures 11 x 14 inches and is in excellent condition with no bends, tears, or creases and is very sharp and has strong tones with good contrast and clarity. “OFFICIAL PHOTOGRAPH U.S. NAVY” stamp is on back (see scan).
