This original 1984 HP calculator was one of the few state of the art calculators manufactured in the United States. The quality of the electronics, sharp display, and unequaled touch keypad were a gem of the scientific calculator industry and are valued as vintage collectors items today.My device you see in the photos has had virtually no use because of my unfamiliarity of RPN (Reverse Polish Notation) and my very limited programming skill. This HP 15C does not have a scratch of ...any kind on it. The display is crystal clear with high contrast digital numbers. The user manual was essentially unread with all of its 293 pages straight, clean, and tightly bound together as the day it was printed. If you look at the center of the front cover it shows 4 yellowish spots at the binding. These spots are the natural leaching of the adhesive used to bind the pages and the cover together.The calculator comes with its original protective brown sleeve and a set of new Silver Oxide Energizer batteries which are recommended by HP as the best battery power for the HP series.
