Vintage US Navy Yellow Ship Hand Held Or Deck Emergency Flashlight
This waterproof lantern was used by the US Navy aboard their ships as emergency lighting. This is a hand-held lantern, but does have a mounting bracket on it as well.
The yellow lantern would look great on a shelf in a family room, cabin, or Man Cave! Perfect for an urban loft for that industrial look.

The lantern is heavy, and heavy-duty. The yellow paint has some scrapes, paint, and scratches from years of use. The lens is intact and has no breaks or cracks in it, just some scuffing. This item is being sold as a decorator piece only. This lantern belonged to my grandfather who retired in 1979 from the MD Drydock Co. in Baltimore in 1978. He probably used this item in the mid-1960s.
