There are heavy vertical and horizontal creases through the middle, along with lesser creases, folds, and wrinkles throughout. The bill is darkened from its use over the years..., with various areas of brown, red, and black staining on the back; the total affected area is about the size of the brown seal. The edges are generally smooth, but there are single notches beginning to form at the top and bottom middle and along the right edge.
