Up for sale is a Realistic sta-740 stereo receiver from around 1984. It features AM/FM stereo with "AUTO-MAGIC" tuning which holds the selected station in perfect tune. It also has inputs for a turntable equipped with a magnetic cartridge, one tape monitor circuit, and an auxiliary in put for a cd player, mp3, phone, etc. It is in very nice cosmetic condition, however, the previous owner inscribed their social security number at the rear of the top c...over. It's not all that noticeable but it is there. All controls work nice and cleanly, and the amplifier puts out a strong 40 watts per channel. The tuner seems to work well, but could stand to be aligned since the pointer and station locations on the dial don't quite coincide. And all of the indicator lights are working as they should. This is a very nice receiver but due to it's age is sold as is, but seems to have had light use and should give many years of service. It will be packed well to insure damage free shipping, too!
