This was either never used, or very lightly used. It is in very good condition, and it includes all of the original paperwork, power adapter, carrying case, etc.
This unit powers on and appears to work, but gets no reception on either AM or FM. Apparently these 7600 series radios are well-built and sought-after and collectible, but often need their electrolytic surface mount capacitors replaced. Instructions to complete this job are easily found online at the stephan win31 de website.
Given that this is a clear, complete in box example, I believe that for someone with good soldering skills, this would be a good candidate to restore.
Also, I found another 7600 radio that doesn't power up at all and I'll throw that one in for free as well. Repair these or use them for parts, it's up to you.
Please note the large and detailed photographs.
This is a radio that's hard to find in such nice condition. Don't pass it up, and email me any questions. Thanks.
