Vintage Hallicrafters SX - 42 Ham Radio Receiver Ser 92535 W Full Case

For sale is a cool vintage Hallicrafters SX-42 Ham Radio Receiver from the estate of a local radio electronics enthusiast and collector.  This classic receiver is in good visual condition. Concerned about blowing delicate electronics, I have not plugged the unit in. It may be in working condition, but it is untested and sold as such. The front mount bolts are missing (allowing you to slide the mainframe out of the case), so the previous owner may have been doing some work on the u...nit.  All of the knobs and switches are intact and move freely. My detailed pictures will allow you to learn at least a bit about the tubes included. The serial number of the unit is 92535. The receiver weighs right at 50 pounds, and it will be packaged carefully for shipment to your location.
