Vintage Shakespeare Wonderod Spin Fishing Rod SP-B 140 6'6"
This a two piece vintage Shakespeare Wonderod spin fishing rod. Model SP-B 140. Rod is 6'6" in length. Light action design rod dates to the early 1970's. Rod has a 5" specie cork rear grip with a brown butt cap, a 5" bronze aluminum sliding hood ring locking fixed spinning reel seat, and a 3 1/4" specie cork foregrip with a bronze aluminum winding check. Standard stainless steel hookeeper is an addition to the rod. Reinforc...ed stainless steel lead guide, five standard stainless steel spinning guides and a Carboloy tip top. Ferrules are rolled nickled over brass. Blade is Wonderod white with orange vintage Gudebrod nylon guide winds with brown nylon accents some extended. Specie cork has been cleaned and reconditioned. There is no logo or I.D. on the rod shaft. Rod is finished with vintage Gudebrod Rod Finish. Comes with a single compartment clear plastic rod bag and a black plastic rod storage tube with screw top.
