This is a 1925-26 H.N. White King alto saxophone in satin silver finish with polished silver keys , bell logo and gold washed bell in beautiful condition. I cleaned up the easy spots to help show how nice this will be with your TLC. The sax is original from a father and son 2 generation farmers in north east Ohio. the father played in school band and the son played it in 7th grade and on Sunday recitals in farm parlor room. Regardless to say the instrument has never seen any rock n rol...l or let alone the road. Despite the mild use of original owners there will need some attention to the , at least one pad if not more. The last , lowest rear pad is a mess , " c-photo" probably from spittle. Now the truly impressive fact of this alto saxophone is there are no dents , and scratches are meniscal to non existent , all the levers spring back fantastically , there are no bent rods , the case is original with missing leather handle , the neck and the body have matching serial #s , there is absolutely no " play " in the neck joint , the gold plug is there , original mouth piece is there , there are real " KING " reads , a " PRO-SLING " strap , and all in great shape. The time and effort needed for this saxophone will be well worth it , its attractive , its in great shape with a few exceptions , its rare , and it has the 1920s antique finish look and its an alto. it is also missing 2 felt bumper pads , take a look at the pics.
