Vintage Ted Williams Spin Surf Fishing Rod #535-40465 9'0"
This is a two piece vintage Ted Williams spin fishing rod. Model 535-40465 rod is 9'0" in length. Sold by Sears Roebuck & Company and made by Shakespeare. Medium action design rod will handle bait or lure weights of 5/8-1 1/4 oz and monofilament line weights of 10-20 lb test. Rod has a 15" specie cork rear grip with a brown rubber butt cap. 4 3/4" stainless sliding hood double ring locking spinning reel seat. 5" specie c...ork foregrip. Reinforced stainless steel lead spinning guide, five standard stainless steel spinning guides, and a Carboloy tip top. Rolled ferrules. Blade is honey color with dark brown vintage Gudebrod nylon guide winds extended. Rod is finished in vintage Gudebrod Rod Finish. Butt cap is a replacement piece. Specie cork has been cleaned and reconditioned. Some silver color loss on the female ferrule. Each section will pack separately in a clear plastic sleeve.
Rod will ship well protected and insured in a heavy plastic tube.
