VINTAGE MORIMURA BLUE PHOENIX FLYING TURKEY HANDLED CAKE PLATE - MADE IN JAPAN. This beautiful plate is covered with images of the Phoenix or flying Turkey, floral blossoms, scrolls of foilage and geometric designs in hues of shaded blue transfer on a white porcelain plate. Plate is in very good condition with no chips or cracks; there is slight loss of color in a couple areas, ie along edge and "looks smeared" in a couple areas (as shown in pictures). Plate measures ...9 3/4" diameter with handles. It is stamped in blue with "M" within wreath and Japan on back. Please see pictures for details (such as the intricate images and design around the handles) along with the condition (black plate stand does not come with plate). Will be carefully wrapped and promptly shipped with USPS Priority Mail.
