Soviet USSR FED-2 35mm Rangefinder Camera produced in 1963 with Case and 1990s Industar 61 L/d Lens. Has been tested for light leaks, of which there are none. Shutter speeds from B to 1/500 seconds. I used the camera as my rangefinder in a film photography class, and the last image above is one I took about two years ago in Florida using this exact camera and some cheap color film for fun. There is an inscription on the top of the camera body that, according to ...a rough translation, means, "Given to the winner of the competition, Komsomol, 1963." Komsomol being the Communist Youth League, it can be assumed that the camera, when new, was an award to a young Soviet member of the League for their success in some competition, perhaps even a photographic one. I got the camera and lens shipped to me from Russia a few years ago. For information on the camera, Matt's Classic Cameras has a good review, while information on the lens can be found on Ken Rockwell's website. Also, there are PDF manuals that can be found online.
