Offered here for your consideration is an antique Italian Majolica Della Robbia Style Bust of a Boy by Fantechi. It dates to the late 19th or early 20th century.
It is in overall as-is, as-pictured used estate condition with chips, re-glued cracks, and apparent losses. There is evidence of old glue and paint, fine and light glaze and surface scratches here and there, and other signs of expected light wear consistent with age.
The interior is marked with an Egisto... Fantechi factory mark and the no. 280.
