Vintage (1960's ?) brooch, designed by Anton Michelsen in 1940 to celebrate the birth of Princess (now Queen) Margrethe of Denmark. The Marguerite daisy is the national flower of Denmark.
Marks: AM under a crown, and Sterling Denmark.Size: 1¼" (3.2cm) diameter.
Condition is generally pretty good, some signs of wear & use. Visible in the photos (see photo 3) is a tiny sliver of enamel loss to one petal, but it really can't be seen with the naked eye.
