tray copper vintage are stamped on the silver seal , decorated with alternating steps with heavy copper plates and inscriptions on copper. Each flower has overlapping geometric patterns and detailed Arabesque patterns. Kairouan, Mamluks, Islamic art in general. Late 19th century Damascus.Silver and copper were recovered in the late 18th and 19th centuries in the Islamic world. The process is difficult and requires several stages of perfection.
