Thank you for viewing our auction. This auction item was obtained with a grouping of other military items belonging to a WWII and Korean War Army vet from here in York (Yorktown) Virginia. Per the family he was an engineer with the 20th Enginner Combat battalion during WWII and went on to be an enginner for the construction of the American Queen Vessel after his military career ended. We will be listing several other items from the estate including .45 ACP Holsters, Rifle bags, cleanin...g kit w/ mag loader and other misc. military items belonging to the soldier. This auction is for his Model 1896 Krag-Jorgensen Rifle Rear Sight with no securing screws. Looks to be in good condition but I have no experience with this item so please use the pictures as the best description of this item. In the box that had this sight were also some misc gun parts.
